The layers are held together by an additional elastic inner cover—the FlexFit Inner Cover. This allows the desired personal configuration of the pillow to be maintained permanently and does not need to be reassembled when changing the pillowcase, for example.
Yes, the layers are all made of the same foam, memory foam, as in the original RECOVERY PILLOW. The adjustment layer (2 cm layer) is a different color so that it is easily recognizable.
The 6 cm Ergonomic Layer contains the familiar head recess. If you like the head recess, you should always use it as the top layer in your desired combination. The geometry of the head recess has been designed to match the ergonomics and comfort of the original RECOVERY PILLOW.
The pillow will be delivered to your home in the 11 cm configuration (Ergonomic and Base Layer). You can then adjust the height of your pillow to suit your personal needs at home.
The Adjustment Layer, which can add extra height to the pillow, is supplied separately in the Travel Bag.
